Wydarzenie kulturalne w Gubinie
W Galerii “Ratusz” Gubińskiego Domu Kultury 3 marca odbyło się spotkanie z kulturą łużycką. Jako wiceprezes zarządu Związku Łużyczan w Polsce – Łużycki Alians zapoznałem mieszkańców Gubina z kulturą łużycką i językiem dolnołużyckim. Język ten używany był w Gubinie do 1844 roku, czyli czasu do którego odbywały się msze w tym języku. W trakcie spotkania można było spróbować swoich sił w czytance po dolnołużycku, zapoznać się ze zwyczajami łużyckimi, prasą dolnołużycką, historycznymi mapami Łużyc oraz obejrzeć fragmenty filmów z językiem dolnołużyckim. Całość spotkania poprowadził dyrektor GDK, Andrzej Winiszewski. Spotkanie umilały nam panie z zespołu Gubińskie Łużyczanki, które śpiewały polskie i łużyckie piosenki. Myślę, że położyłem kamień węgielny pod przyszłe kontakty polsko - dolnołużyckie. Mam nadzieję, że język dolnołużycki zajmie w tych kontaktach należne mu miejsce. Na zakończenie spotkania głos zabrał Marek Maria Chełchowski prezes zarządu Związku Łużyczan w Polsce – Łużycki Alians.

7 thematic domains are under discussion: DEMOCRACY, LANGUAGE EDUCATION, CULTURE, ENVIRONMENT, SCIENCE & RESEARCH, BUSINESS, CROSS-BORDER INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION.
The MMR fully supports the comprehensive LUSATIA GLOW programme and a concerted cooperatian has been agreed on its realisation which should be gradually launched by setting up first steps by spring 2023.

Parlament der Sorben im Deutschen Bundestag
Erfolgreiche Gespräche zu grenzüberschreitenden Projekten und parlamentarischem Strukturwandel in der Lausitz
Berlin/ Nebelschütz, 16. Januar 2023 - Der SERBSKI SEJM, die aus freier, gleicher und direkter Wahl hervorgegangene Volksvertretung der Sorben in der Lausitz, hat heute im Deutschen Bundestag in Berlin den brandenburgischen Bundestagsabgeordneten Knut Abraham MdB getroffen, der Stellvertretendes Mitglied im Parlamentarischen Beirat der Stiftung für das Sorbische Volk ist. Der SERBSKI SEJM ist die erste und bisher einzige demokratisch gewählte Volksvertretung in der Geschichte der Sorben in der Lausitzer Dreiländerregion und sieht sich u.a. als natürlichen Mittler zu den angrenzenden Nachbarländern.
Gesprächsthemen waren Schwerpunktprojekte des SERBSKI SEJM wie z.B. das AKTIS Media-Projekt - ein mediales Pilotprojekt für ganz Europa mit grenzüberschreitendem Netzwerk für junge Leute, das ab 2024 an den Start gehen soll. Außerdem wurden das IANUA-Schulprojekt, das in Nebelschütz initiiert wurde, sowie das ETULIS-Dreiländer-Universitätsprojekt zur grenzüberschreitenden deutsch-tschechisch-polnischen Zusammenarbeit im Bereich Bildung besprochen. Der Mehrwert der sorbischen Sprache und das über die Jahrzehnte gewachsene Selbstbewusstsein der sorbischen Mitbürger wurden von Thomas Zschornak hervorgehoben, der über 30 Jahre Bürgermeister der „enkeltauglichen Gemeinde“ war.
Die Projekte wurden als integrale Bestandteile des Rahmenprogramms LUSATIA GLOW (Lausitzer Leuchten) vorgestellt, das vergangenes Jahr vom SERBSKI SEJM als strategischem Partner unter der Federführung der Brüsseler Bewegung SLAVONIC EUROPE (SE) in Brüssel, Dresden, Bautzen und Prag von EU-Institutionen und EU-Mitgliedstaaten unterstützt wird. Neu ist die sorbische Perspektive des sogenannten „Lausitzer Modells“, unter der die gesamteuropäischen Projekte über die Grenzen hinweg starten sollen. Bei aktuell rund 20.000 sprechenden Sorben sind differenzierte Sprachtools in das mehrsprachige Programm mit eingebunden.
Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt des Gesprächs mit Knut Abraham MdB war die Jugendarbeit des SERBSKI SEJM, die von der sorbischen Volksvertretung auf besonderer Art und Weise als Zukunftsarbeit gepflegt wird und zu der sich anwesende junge Vertreter der neuen sorbischen Generation des SERBSKI SEJM persönlich geäußert haben. Ein weiteres brennendes Thema war der Dialog des sorbischen Parlaments aus 24 gewählten Abgeordneten, jeweils 12 aus der Niederlausitz und 12 aus der Oberlausitz, mit dem sorbischen Verband Domowina – Bund Lausitzer Sorben e.V. zum parlamentarischen Strukturwandel in der Lausitz, sowie zu touristisch-wirtschaftlichen Fragen. „Da rennen Sie bei mir offene Türen ein“, wie Knut Abraham MdB betonte. Weitere Gespräche des SERBSKI SEJM auf europäischer Ebene sollen folgen.

W dniu 2022-05-09 delegacja SLAVONIC EUROPE International Network for Slavonic Cooperation którego skladowymi są LUSATIA GLOW oraz UKRAINE GLOW, w osobach Prezydenta Davida Chmelika, Prezesa Marka M. Chełchowskiego z Łużyckiego Aliansu oraz Andreasa Klugego z Serbskiego Sejmu, spotkała się w niemieckim Bundestagu z przedstawicielem niemieckiego Bundestagu z frakcji CDU/CSU Panem Knutem Abrahamem celem omówienia bieżących zagadnień ukraińskich oraz łużyckich oraz planowanych działań.
On 2022-05-09, delegation of the SLAVONIC EUROPE International Network for Slavonic Cooperation, whose members are LUSATIA GLOW and UKRAINE GLOW, in the person of President David Chmelik, President Marek M. Chełchowski from the Łużycki Alliance and Andreas Kluge member of the Serbian Sejm, met at the German Bundestag with a representative of the German Bundestag from the CDU / CSU faction, Mr. Knut Abraham, to discuss the current Ukrainian and Lusatian issues and planned activities.

History:
The union was established in the fall of 2021. The creation initiative came from activists related to Lusatia: history, culture, tradition, Lusatian languages and the issue of their preservation.
The following persons contributed to the establishment of the Association:
Marek Maria Chełchowski, who took the office of the President, for many years was an activist of SLS (Sorb People's Party) - the party of the Lusatian minority in Germany and then Lausitzer Allianz.
Krzysztof J. Machaj has for many years been associated with the Lusatian issues, not only in Poland. Today Vicepresident.
Tomasz Olgierd Major - an expert in the Lower Sorbian language - active in this field for many years in Poland and Germany. Today Vicepresident.
Bogusława Witkowska - a resident of Zgorzelec - for many years involved in the issues of Lusatian culture and the protection of Lusatian monuments. Also Vicepresident.
For years, the above-mentioned have been dealing with Lusatian issues in Poland and Germany.
In late autumn 2021, the registration documents after the founding convention were submitted to the District Court of the VI Commercial Division of the National Court Register in Wrocław / Poland.
Association's goals:
Promotion, popularization and development of education, culture, art, history and Lusatian languages.

2. Organizing meetings and activities to disseminate knowledge about the past and today of the Lusatians through readings, lectures, conferences and symposia,
1. Organizing exhibitions, shows and artistic performances of the Sorbs and Wends,
2. Cooperation between international scientific, educational, artistic, political and religious communities and the Lusatians,
3. Promoting and supporting the economic cooperation of the Lusatian community,
4. Protection of cultural assets and heritage of the Lusatian people,
5. Propagating the art and mementos of Western Slavs, especially Lower and Upper Lusatians,
6. Promoting the tradition, culture, art, history of the Lusatian and Lusatian languages,
7. Creating and disseminating publications and materials concerning the activities of the association,
8. Creation and dissemination of publications and materials concerning culture, art, history and Lusatian languages,
9. Activities for the development of tourism,
10. Activities for the development of education, in particular supporting Sorbian education,

22. Dissemination and protection of human freedoms and rights and civil liberties, as well as activities supporting the development of democracy,

24. Activities for non-governmental organizations and entities listed in art. 3 sec. 3 of the Act of April 24, 2003 on Public Benefit and Volunteer Work, to the extent specified in art. 4 sec. 1 items 1-32a of this Act.

Historia:
Związek powstał na jesieni 2021 roku. Inicjatywa utworzenia wyszła od działaczy związanych z zagadnieniami Łużyc: historii, kultury, tradycji, języków łużyckich oraz kwestii ich zachowania. Do powołania Związku do życia walnie przyczynili się: Marek Maria Chełchowski, który objął funkcję Prezesa przez wiele lat był czynnym działaczem SLS (Serbska Ludowa Strona) – partii mniejszości Łużyczan w Niemczech a potem Lausitzer Allianz.Krzysztof J. Machaj od lat związany z zagadnieniami łużyckimi nie tylko w Polsce. Dzisiaj Viceprezes.Tomasz Olgierd Major – znawca języka dolnołużyckiego - aktywnie działający na tym polu od lat w Polsce i Niemczech. Dzisiaj Viceprezes.Bogusława Witkowska – mieszkanka Zgorzelca - od lat zaangażowana w zagadnienia kultury łużyckiej oraz ochrony zabytków łużyckich. Powyżej wymienieni od lat zajmowali się zagadnieniami łużyckimi w Polsce i w Niemczech. Późną jesienią 2021 złożono dokumenty rejestracyjne po zjeździe założycielskim w Sądzie Rejonowym VI Wydziale Gospodarczym KRS we Wrocławiu.
Cele Związku:
Krzewienie, popularyzacja oraz rozwój oświaty, kultury, sztuki, historii i języków łużyckich.

After many years of political absence in "totalitarian Prussia and Saxony, the Second Reich, Nazi Germany as well as socialist and communist havens", the Lusatian theme begins to return to its rightful place. The dignity of the Lusatian peoples and their right to preserve their language and culture are being restored - more than 1,300 years of tradition have their value! Our goal is to save the monuments of culture, historical memory and dying languages. Please support our activities.
Po wielu latach politycznego niebytu w „totalitarnych Prusach i Saksonii, II Rzeszy, hitlerowskich Niemczech oraz socjalistycznych i komunistycznych rajach” tematyka łużycka zaczyna powracać na należne jej miejsce. Przywracana jest godność narodów łużyckich i ich prawo do zachowania języka i kultury – ponad 1300-letnia tradycja ma swoją wartość! Naszym celem jest ratowanie zabytków kultury, pamięci historycznej i ginących języków. Prosimy o poparcie naszej działalności.
